Introducing the Program

A Confident Transition to School

The Montessori 3rd Year builds upon the foundations developed during the earlier years, offering children increasingly purposeful and challenging work as they prepare for their transition to school.

As experienced members of the Montessori community, children have opportunities to take greater responsibility, care for their environment, and model Grace & Courtesy for younger children.

Alongside the development of literacy and mathematics, the program strengthens concentration, independence, problem-solving, communication, and social-emotional skills. Children are encouraged to follow routines, make thoughtful choices, work through challenges, and take pride in their accomplishments.

By the end of the Montessori 3rd Year, children leave with strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics, together with the confidence, independence, and love of learning to approach their next educational journey with enthusiasm.
